We’re Niki Cioffi and Jayna Story, two American women who met while sailing the world on a 2024 world cruise. Somewhere between breathtaking ports and late-night conversations, we discovered not only a bond but a dream: to make Italy our home.

That dream soon became reality. Jayna settled in the stunning mountains of Northern Italy, and Niki embraced life by the turquoise shores of Puglia in the south. Through our own journeys of buying homes, navigating Italian bureaucracy, and becoming residents, we learned every detail — the joys, the challenges, and the beautiful rewards of living la dolce vita.

Our passion for Italy and firsthand experience inspired us to create Vista Italia, a personalized service that helps other foreigners find their perfect home here.
